We are delighted to announce that we have received funding support from Garfield Weston Foundation.

We are delighted to announce that we have received funding support from Garfield Weston Foundation, a well-known family foundation who supports charities all across the UK. After reading about our work at our community writing centre in Hoxton the Foundation decided to award us a generous grant of £70,000 over two years.

The Foundation’s  support is a brilliant boost to our young writers – helping them to realise their ambitions through their creative writing. Whether creating their own Zines about issues they care about, writing a never-ending choose your own adventure or delivering their next speech in parliament – this funding will unlock creative opportunities for young people through our programmes.

It is fantastic to have Garfield Weston Foundation’s support. This investment shows great belief in the importance and value of our work, and in the unlimited potential of our young writers.” Rob Smith, Director, Ministry of Stories.
